Welcome to the Rysdale Guest House for Bed and Breakfast Lake District.
Dianne and Allan welcome you to Rysdale in the Lake District,
a traditional Edwardian Lakeland house that was built in 1905 and
situated in Ambleside. The 4 star B@B accommodation
provides accommodation in a comfortable
and relaxed atmosphere. There are spectacular views of the
surrounding fells and mountains.
Ambleside itself provides a great variety of different attractions,
and Rysdale is an ideal base from which to start the days
activities. A 10 minute stroll takes you to Lake Windermere
for a lake cruise, or a pleasant walk through

the woods brings you to Stockghyll waterfalls. A further 2-3 minute stroll is all that
is needed for the many excellent shops, restaurants, and bars, with gentle parkland
surroundings to relax in on your visit.
Rysdale is the perfect base for local fell and mountain walks on your holiday.
As well as providing easy access for all that Ambleside and
the surroundings area has to offer. We feel that our hospitality
